yeah, if it stalls to 2600 i'll take two, one for me and throw one in my mom's yukon....that's a killer price for that big of a gain....unless it's gonna blow up the first time i spray on it.

Well, if $240 is regular price, then I can get em at cost which is even cheaper than that.
Someone find out if they will work with no problems!!!!

If someone could get me a new one for $240 (or close to it) without core charge, I will test it out for ya. Let's just make sure it's the one Patrick G is talking about.

I could install it around Christmas, street test it in early Jan, then track test it in late January when the tracks re-open around here. I just got some good baseline runs in this week for a comparison, too. It'll be going in a stock 5.3 truck, but I will likely install a shift kit and add some sticky tires at the same time. I'd grab some video of it too, but at this point I don't have a camcorder so I'd have to find someone to loan me one.

So who wants to hook me up with a converter?

EDIT: I would also tow test it along the same time with the Jeep in sig. Trailer weight would be around 5700 to 6000lbs loaded.

Patrick G., what's your thoughts on this?

For mainly cost purposes i am probably gonna end up going this route as well. So who ever does test one, please come back here and post how it preforms. Cause i hate spending money and doing work twice.

Keep me posted guys, I am dead serious about testing one for ya if you got the hook up. Otherwise I will just keep saving for a TT-3000.

TTT.
I will see if I can find out the STR and stall RPM on Monday. My buddy said since the Trailblazer engine and trans is the same(5.3 and 4L60E), it will work, but he said he doesn't know how the computer will react. Guess that's why Vig and Yank have a ~150 mile break-in period?
If the price is around $240, I will be ordering one. Will have it installed with my transgo and billets soon.
Anybody want a stock verter?

I thought we needed the one that came off the 5.3....does that inline 6 come with a 4L60E also? If it does, either way, both should work right?
My buddy works at a Jeep/Oldsmobile dealership, so the old *** computer that he uses at work to look up parts only has Jeep/Oldsmobile parts to display, unless I have a VIN # of the particular Trailblazer(s), we won't be able to browse the different Trailblazers w/ the different engines...

I want to order one on Monday, tomorrow, but the part number I have is different than the one listed. I checked for both the GMC Envoy and the Trailblazer and found converter part number 24213393 for the 4l60e.

I can't find a price on the part number 24215557 and neither gmpartsdirect or Scoggin Dickey have a part with that number. Which number is the right one?
