I had a 3200 stall in my car for a while and traction was non existant at more than 40-50% throttle from a stop. Then I stepped up to a 3800 stall and it was MUCH easier to launch on the street than the 3200.
The reason explained to me was that the 3800 didn't hit the tires as quickly as the 3200 did therefore giving them a chance to get a little traction.
Maybe that has something to do with it also.

I installed a vette servo, separator plate, and an aluminum accumulator piston along with the transgo-hd. one spacer with the transgo was plenty for me. the 1-2 shift is awesome at wot, firm at part throttle. 2-3 shift is firm at wot. I have 265/75/16 firestone wilderness le's they are 31.6 inches tall. I also have 3.73 gears
