trailblazer converter and transgo

I will be picking up my truck from the shop today with a trailblazer converter, and a transgo shiftkit installed. What are some opinions on performance gains?

so don't flame me if you don't agree. I would really be interested in the results you do have as I plan on the same things sometime soon.

the trailblazer converter p/n is 24228709 with the inline 6 cylinder. the price was $231.52 which is what I would call shop price. The list price is $312.00
There is also a $100.00 core charge, however my Gm parts guy didn't charge for a core because he knows I will bring it back.
My initial impressions after driving the truck 40 miles home are as follows.
1. converter is quite a bit looser but not at all too loose for my daily driver.
2. the truck does not seem to lose traction as bad in 1st gear as before (in 2wd.)
3. it seems to go from idle to 2000 or so rpm's before moving the truck much under normal throttle application.
4.truck seems to stay in the powerband quite a bit better, rpm drop after gear changes is substantially less than stock stall.
5. the transgo is awesome, my mechanic timed the shifts he said they dropped from approximately .53-.56 seconds to .16-.19 in between gear changes. the truck will get major 2nd rear rubber under wot.
I will try to run the truck this evening using my g-tech, I will post up actual stall speed, and some additional observations

I took the truck out for a few g-tech runs this evening. With the truck in 4HI the trailblazer converter does indeed stall to 2500-2550 rpms. This is compared to a 1700 stall speed with the stock converter.
truck leaves the line very hard compared to stock.
I was not able to show any additional performance gains. it seems that torque management is giving me problems with the new transgo, and vette servo. It may also be working against the converter, not sure?
I had two g-tech runs that were 15.07, and 15.09 however my mph was down to 92.7, and 93.4 respectively. It seems that the drop in timing is offsetting the performance gains of the converter, and shift kit.
Looks like it is time for a custom tune!!!!
the truck feels extremely strong leaving the line I would give the sotp meter a guess of .3 to .35 reduction with the 2 mods in 0 to 60 times.

seems like your pulling some pretty good times out of your truck. 2 years newer and a difference in sea level must be my problem..
