first of all, with the same mods an ext cab is not going to beat a reg cab (the weight factor will kick in towards the end of the race). second, traction bars stop the tires from bouncing. they dont help with burning out

I had traction problems with my stock tires, until i put a Eaton posi in. It solved most of my traction problems, just kinda chirps the tires a little when i leave then it hooks. My 60ft times dropped 3 tenths with just the Eaton unit.

You run 40lbs. make sure you rotate the air in them first though

What I do for traction is toss in 150lbs of sand in the back and you hook right up with very little chirp. Oh you want to go fast... <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

Hyperlite, i dont know how much a mechanic would charge. If i were to do it i wouldnt charge over a $100 to do it, it took me about an hour and half to pull the old carrier and put in the new one.

and both me and my friend have open rear ends. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />
