just get it on a 114 instead...your powerband will just be a little different

yep... the 114 will idle a little smoother... unless you are just dead set on the 112... a little less duration may also be an option. like maybe 222/222 on a 114

the 224 on a 112lsa is going to be hard to keep it under the radar, this cam sounds damn good, I dont know but maybe they can just set your idle higher than normal to try and cut alot of the choppiness..

get it on a 114 and idle it at like 800rpm and you wont notice its there. Why dont oyu want anyone to know its there> Basically you would want an FI since almost none of them lope.

Would putting a cam of that size in a daily driver ruin its reliablility? Id like to put a cam like that in my truck but its a daily driver.

Not necessarily. You are gonna want more low end torque of which a tighter lsa provides if im not mistaken.

Remember that cubes eat cams. I heard Colby's TR224 114 (LQ4) and you could tell it was there but you have to listen for it. If you were to idle it up another 100 rpm, you wouldnt hear it. You have to listen right next to the tailpipe to hear my cam but the duration is a tad smaller. The thing about the LQ9 and LS1 is that they are high compression motors and you will hear more of a "pop" in the exhaust note. Im sure with your corsa and bullet, you would have to listen a bit for it if you idle it up.

Try: www.ls1sounds.com
Take a look under the camshafts tab and there is a couple TR224 112 LS1 clips.

Heres one:

Seems like a 114 would be your best bet.......
