If you insist on a smaller cam, go with a TR220 on a 114 lsa. It will have better top end than the comp cams 216/220.

The problem with the Whiplle guys is they lose alot of their low end grunt with these big cams. That's probably why Thunder recoemded the smaller cam.. N/A I'd do the TR224 NP. Then again I'm the nut using the 226 cams in my 5.3.. Hahaha

im running a 223 225 564 571 114 and bottomend feels great and pulles to 6600 1-2 and 6400 2-3 5800 3-4 no problems lol 5000 in 4th then let off man was i moving sorry back to the cam if the little 4.8 that could is running it then the 5.3 will do just fine with a 2600 stall.

Remember when I posted up that I was going to do the 226 cam and everyone freaked out and said it was WAAAY too big? Besides, I have a 5.3L, not the 6.0L LOL

uhh remember mine is a 5.3 to dude with a denali front clipper. hehehehehe. yay i remember that. hell man i made good numbers thru an 80e with that big ol cam to.

like all the f-body guys that used to think those lil 224 cams were big.. look at em now with there magic sticks and t-rex's
