Smile TR220 in ex cab 4x4 5.3?

I know this question is beat like a dead horse.

With a vigilant 3500-3600 stall and 4.10 gears would the TR220 112* work in a ex cab 4x4?

Or would the VMax Motorsports 216/220 .553/.563 113+2 work better?

I know dyno numbers are one thing and track times are another. Wheatly has a 220 duration cam in his crew can 2wd I figured there would only be a couple hundred pounds difference between both trucks. So tell me what you think.

Or if you recomend any other custom cam thats in your trucks tell me. Plus give dyno and track times please.

I had the old man cam in the last trucks but the power did really come on till 3800 rpm which is too high. Plus the TR220 has a sick torque curve at 3500rpm. But impressive track times are being ran by the VMAx cam.

Thanks in advance

I talked to the guy at Vmax a couple months ago and he said his cam would be quicker on the street but the TR200 would be faster at the track? I think they are both badass cams but which would work the best for me? My goal is 13.5-13.90 et in my truck

either would work but I wouldnt think you would need that much stall. I think a 28-3200 would work great with my cam and it is 221/221 and I only have 3.73 gears.

i had a tr220 in a 5.3 in my crew w/a tt3000. i never ran it at the track but on the street it would start to peel the tires loose at 4000 rpm. you will need the higher stall and 4x4 launches but it would run that et you are looking for.

I think the TR220 would be good for your 5.3, well I'm a little bias...
