I'm doing the 224 in a 6.0L. I was told at least a 3000 stall.

I've got the TR230/224 cam in my 6.0 right now with the Trail Blazer stall. It used to flash to just about 2800 with the LS1 but I haven't got to try it with the 6.0 yet. This works just fine with the cam, I do feel the cam kind of kick in a little later after taking off hard. So I'd image a 2600 or 3000 should work out great. I wouldn't go any higher with towing alot.

I talked to a guy with a 2 horse trailer and he has a 208/210 - 556/556 112 and he loves it. said he has power all across the board. he has a stock stall as well.

TR220 and a 2600 stall... and even then you still may lose some of that towing ability IMO...

I would go smaller for towing to keep the low end and mid range torque b/c you need it towing 10000 lbs. I would go around the 210 intake and 216 or so on the exhaust. That will promote overall power IMO.
