well finally all my parts cam in for my truck. My tr220, longtubes, lifters, pushrods, springs, timing chain, and my circle d 3000.

my truck is a 99 extended cab 5.3 z71.

just wondering what kind of power people think i will be gaining, kind of mileage ill have, just basically anything to expect.

im so excited to finally get it all in, i just have to wait till my winter break to get it all installed. will also be getting it re tunes, shift kit and servo installed at that time.

 

heres my truck just stalled it last weekend, mods in sig same cam ext cab truck tho on 33's

 

kick *** man! when you go to get it tuned check out wheatly here in houston, the guy is awesome. i have moreless the same set up as you and that tune made all the difference

 

Your combo if dialed in right, will get you into the low low 13's

 

btw i would guess with a good tune 340 to the wheels? i have a 6.0 LQ9 stock everything LT headers Efans and cai and i made 320 to the wheels. what kind of gears do you have? i have 4.10's and a stock stall and I get 17mpg with 275/40/20's.

Wheatley is a great guy he actually tunned my truck last year. But this time i think i am going to be going with a shop south of Houston called SXT performance.

well i have the stock gears that came in my truck which i believe are 3.73s

that would be extremely nice

 

Haha ya, im around 390 or so . U add some heads to ur combo it will be a very soild combo. I love mine... i have a weee bit of traction issues now tho haha i cant even get 33" Ats to gook at 1100 rpms although i did a 2000 lanch earlyer and it was fun

 

yeah i plan on getting some head next summer once i start working again.
