Default Torque management removal can blow tranny??

I have done some research on TM in this forum as I am going to have my PCM reprogrammed and also going to have all the TM removed. I read somewhere in this forum that if you remove the TM it will ruin the tranny, is this true?? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

The purpose of TM is to pro-long the life of the tranny..In other words, your tranny wont last as long as a tranny w/ TM (If it is stock). Judging by the tranny mods in your sig, you shouldnt have a problem.

With the addition of the servos you should be ok. Also while you are having someone program your truck, have them boost the line pressures a little and reduce your shift timing at higher rpms/throttle postitions.
