Default How bout this cam for my truck? opinions please!

By the time i get a cam i will have my exhaust installed (see in sig for mods) and a yank 3000.

[url=http://www.sdpc2000.com/cart.asp?action=prod_detail&catid=2115&pid =81670]HERES THE CAM[/url

I do plan on gettin different valvesprings and a predator to tune it. My question is would this be a good cam for my application? I am looking to gain 30-40 rwhp. Is it possible with this cam? thanks!

I ran that cam without the converter,it pulls hard from 3000 RPM's.That cam along with the yank 3000 will make an excellent combo in my opinion.If you're interested, I'm selling mine. It has roughly 8K miles on it. I'm letting it go for $200 shipped, let me know.

I have that cam as well and just got my diablo back with the program for it and it helped bunches. I am gonna try it at the track this weekend with a 100 shot with it. I am probably going to try spraying a small shot out of the hole to make up for the loss in bottom end power i lost for not having a stall.

It has a pretty nice lope to it. You'll have to play around with the throttle body hole size to get the idle perfect. I didn't get any dyno numbers. I had upgraded heads with that cam so yeah, I'd recommend some comp 918's. Red2K seems to have some luck w/ the Predator so it should go well for you too.
