BigTex,these are the rest of my times in that slip:R/T-.841 60'-2.477 1/8-10.245@71.25mph 1/4-15.732@88.2mph. like i said, i was pretty disappointed, but i also wasn't running under ideal conditions. i hope these times are as inaccurate as everyone was has been claiming(everyone that day).

That alone would make a big difference in time. What is the elevation of that track?

yah, you definatley need to get your truck back out to the track and see what happens this time.

your 60ft times look like mine! (that is not a good thing )

are you launching in 4hi? or even autotrac?

Silent1 - Those times are about what I thought. I have a 99 excab Z71 with cam, headers, exhaust, tuning and intake. I was on 33" tires at the time, but I was getting 2.5 60's, and 10.4x @ 69.x mph in the 1/8th last year.

"Jim - Its not too late to sell your whipple, and put a mean heads/cam combo on that 6.0 and follow that up with a little juice. I guarantee that you'd be faster."

yea, well why not go with it all? 6.0(or bigger if they come out with some cheap stroker cranks or at least over bore it some), heads and cam, moderate boost(5psi), forged piston and rod bolts, then a 75+ shot to top it off. boom there goes some driveline parts

i can see where it probably won't be worth my time to try and run high boost but if i keep the boost low and then go with everthing else it should be a running package every day and then an extra kick in the pants when i hit the button.
