Torque Converter?
#1
((1999 GMC Sierra 5.3L Reg. Cab, short bed)).I've been looking into torque converters because from what I've herd, they dramatically lower 1/4 mile times and 0-60 times. What would you all recomend, would a Yank 2600 work,(PLEASE NOTE; My truck is a daily driver and soon will be driving about 50 miles to college 4 days a week). Also is there any extra strain put on my drivetrain when a higher stall is installed(2600stall-3000stall)? Will a 2600-3000 stall work with stock engine components?

all i can say, is i rode in BigKids truck today with a yank 3000, fun
i wish i had a stall. he still had 3.73 in his. man, that is such a different ride from my 3.42's. i loved it. as far as daily driving, i could get used to it. punch it and it goes.............

I run a Yank 3000 in my Tahoe. No drivability issues,no change in fuel economy and no loss of towing capasity. The truck is an absolute monster out of the hole.
