I have not posted here in quite some time since I purchased my 1999 Z28 but since it is getting closer to winter and the car will be going in storage soon I did some work to my truck this weekend. As you can see from my signature I have a full exhaust system with MagnaFlow cat-back exiting out the back. I removed the tips that came with the kit and I also adjusted the system to fit better. Sometimes I feel my truck can be a bit too loud especially for a daily driver. Don't get me wrong I love the way it sounds but it can be annoying especially at night in my neighborhood when people are trying to sleep. SInce I removed the tips I had an idea of replacing them with polished MagnaFlow 4" diameter bullet mufflers/resonators to try and quiet it down some but not affect performance much. Does anyone have any opinions on this? What would it do to my sound? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

 

I added a resonator, it helped alot with resonance, no lost performance.
