i have a double. the only pullies you have to modifie are the asp. i did not modify my stock pully. i believe it is cloys has a prety good single. i have the slp double. i remember there being a thread a while back about the breakage of the chanes from stock to double and if i remember correctly they all broke about the same. you should be fine with whatever i know some real powerfull fbods running stock chains.

Up to you. You may want to advance or retard your cam later. I think you can do with just an allen wrench on some.

i dont know about the comp. the adjustible part is not all that important. but makes it nice if you want to adjust it but then you have to get the degree wheel out and all that. i would just order the cam i want with the retard or advance ground in.

I bought a JWIS chain for my future 5.3 build-up. I might change the gears on it too, not decided yet.
