The regular Renold stock chain is fine...its the slack that kills it. Lots of engine builders still use the stock chain. I'd just order the adjustable Comp/Cloyes LS1 set with chain...it should be about 150 or so.

Get the kit from more perf that is hardened and be done with it. I caught it on a GP and got it for 110, adjustable double roller hardened set.
