Default Time to cam the 2010 HD

So ive been looking for a good cam but not a blower cam even though Im going for a Whipple 2.9 in February

here is what im looking for : good cam that works with a blower since the blower cam doesnt perform great in 4th gear I would want something that is perfect plus I DONTWANT A STALL cuz its my daily driver and I had a bad thing with stalls before

If there is nothing I would want a good spec'd cam that gives me power , I can change it later when I get my whipple Im considering a 228/240 .621 or smthing like that what do you guys think?

and ofcouse il be deleting the vvt

Contact Geoff or Pat G at EPS and get a custom spec'd cam..sounds like you want alot out of it..The one you mentioned sounds a little big if you are NOT planning a stall increase in you converter...

Id look into keeping the VVT, if tuned right it can do some amazing things especially in a heavy truck. Contact Patrick G and he can provide more insight into cam specs and tuning the VVT tables. Hes one of the most experienced with both.

So 1-3 pull good but when you hit 4th it doesn't pull good? By the time you hit fourth gear, you should be well on your way to 100 mph. Right?

Just for reference, I went through all of my scans, and none of them showed me shifting into fourth at WOT. The highest I saw in third gear was about 5200 rpm before I let off, and that was 117 mph. I have it shifting at 6000. I didn't keep a scan, but I remember seeing 121 mph (on HP Tuners) and it still wasn't shifting into fourth yet. That is with 3:73 gears and 16 inch tires.
