Default It is time..

To upgrade my cam, I have some slack in the timing chain and I always look at it as a chance to upgrade when this happens.

My question to yall..

What Cam??

My Mods:
-K&N FIPK II
-Poweraid TB Spacer
-Flomaster 3 inch exhaust for the Y pipe back
-Ls1 Fans
-HPPIII Programmer(Soon to be gone for Tuning)
-3.73 Gears and Eaton Posi
-Built Tranny - Trans Go Shift Kit HD II?, Corvette Servo, Kevlar Bands, Hardened Sun Shell and Gears, and Deep tranny Pan
-Yank TT3000 Stall

I dont know what is mild for the trucks, I dont know what is Radical for these trucks.. I need some help..

Thanks,

Why? There's no point in doing those for our trucks. My truck had 99k miles when we swapped cams and all that we changed was:cam, pushrods, springs, oil pump, and timing chain.

As far as a cam, a tr220 on 112 lsa would go perfect with your stall. That cam makes amazing power in a 5.3L.

If you wanted something that doesn't lope as much, I'd get the 216/220.

If it were me though, I'd get a 224/224 on 112 lsa. That's what I'm running and I love it. Now I just need a torque converter.

^What he said...you can't go wrong with a 220/220 on 112 or 114 lsa.

Who makes the tr220? I've seen people talking about getting that cam, but i never knew who makes it or sells it.

I didn't see them on the sponsors list. Is their website address just Thunderracing.com or what?
