Default Thunder Racing 220/220 112 for 5.3?

I have a 99 silverado x-cab 5.3 with headers, exhaust, CAI, and tune. I was looking into the TR220/220 112 full kit for $600. This truck is my daily driver, so I don't want to hurt driveability or dependability. My truck has 90k miles on it and i haven't had any problems yet, and I really don't want to cause any. What is this cam going to do to my gas mileage? Do you guys have any suggestions? What do I need to watch out for? Will it sound good with Loudmouth 2's?

you need to add a converter before that cam.
preferably a yank tt3000. your gas mileage won't change on the hwy.
its a perfect for a daily driver.
you might lose 1mpg in the city but that's going to be because of the converter.

I did the comp 212/218 and have actually seen an 20% increase in mileage with my highway tune.

without a tune u'll lose lots more gas, haha, but it wont be too bad without a converter, I dont see y its such a big deal. Personally the converter will only help u get off the line better. Im still untuned with a 221 in my 4.8, it still scoots. Do the swap and dont think twice, u'll love it.

That will be a great cam for you as long as do the supporting mods to go along with it as mentioned!
