Default Throttle response....?

I have a friend thats got a 2005 1500 5.3 w/ electronic throttle & and an HP tuner he's adjusted timing and fuel & played with other things But the Throttle response still seems lazy, Does anyone know what to adjust on an HP to make it a little more responsive....

My 05 was the same way but when I switched to the 90mm response was a lot better especially at part throttle.

Have you dialed in your VE and MAF tables with a wideband? I have GREAT throttle response and i have never messed with the ETC tables.

No he does not have a wideband, now he did descreened the MAF would that effect the response & also idle seems lower could that cause it...?

IMO I would never descreen the MAF, I am sure GM put it on there for a reason, probably to accurately read the incoming air... Also I have been told by a board tuning sponser
that you need to retune for a descreened maf cause the readinga will be different.. Tell him to get a wideband..
