Can you post a pic of your truck? I go to Scrapin every year so just wanna see it so ill know who it is when i see it out there.

As for those heads, if the casting number on top of the front of the head in front the valve cover is 243, def buy them, mill them .040 and throw them on when you put the cam in. If you are going turbo, dont mill them, just bolt them on. If the casting number is 317, dont bother, they will lower your compression too much.

Ya and you have a LS motor not a SBC. Seriously, take a step back and put some thought into what you want to do. If you post up your exact setup and what your goals are then there are plenty of knowledgeable people on here that can point you in the right direction. You are jumping from idea to idea with no course of direction, you need a plan for your mods.

I think you should seriously stop what you are doing until you know exactly what you want out of this truck. Several people have said this and it doesn't seam to be sinking in. You are going to end up wasting money.

I do not know how most of these guys plan there builds but this works for me..

1) Sit down and think about what you need/want out of your rig (this should take awhile).
2) Start an excel spreadsheet or word doc. and start putting down the parts needed to accomplish goals (after HOURS of research of course). Annotate prices where you can and keep track of money spent.
3) Break everything up into sections ie. fuel system, engine components, etc. and start ordering your parts.
4) Install said parts and have fun.

Again, this is just how I like to do things, I'm sure everyone has there own way, this is just mine.

I HAVE to do to lists and plan ahead because I am terrible with impulse buying and waste a lot of money without a plan. And seeing how you went from a turbo kit to buying headers in less than 2 hours I think you are in the same boat.

You might get picked on a little but everyone here is only trying to help steer you in the appropriate direction. Hope everything comes together for you.
