Post Throttle body spacers?

I'm getting a throttlebody spacer for my 01 Silverado 5.3l. What's the difference in one without ports and one with power ports. Wats the ports for?

Save up 600 or 700 a month for cam, stall, headers. won't take long if you can save that much a month. Or save even longer and do a turbo if you really want some power. The cheap things like throttle body spacers don't do anything on ls motors like they do a carbureted motor.

First off welcome to the site. Second we need more specific goals and a limit to how far you want to go. 1/4 time, hp/tq, budget, timeline etc. don't be afraid of the search button
1) tune
2) boltons cold air intake muffler long tube headers
3) stall 3200 from circle d (mild version) triple disk 34-3600 (wild version)
4) cam 212/218 or 220/220 (mild version) 226/230 or 228/228 (wild version)
5) gears 4.10s(if you drive more than 500 miles a month) 4.56(more fun but not a great DD gear ratio)
6) spray or boost this is a serious step in a fast direction you need a deeper look into specifics.
