my truck is registered in NC. i am just stationed in CA. I have high flow cats installed on my truck just because i dont think the HP gained by removing them is worth it. my point was just to let him know what could happen. i really didnt mean to start a pissing contest but i would hate for a noob to get slapped with a fine because someone suggested he should remove them and him not know ahead of time it could be an issue.

Alright another question I've been researching before asking anything just like tall said but I can't seem to find much about heads. Should I get after market heads or leave stock and aren't the heads on trucks aluminum if that's so I've heard its not good to put stainless and aluminum together and I'm ordering stainless headers. I was going to order pacesetter headers bit I've heard they are crappy

I would only do heads if you can get a set cheap or are doing full bolt ons/forced induction.

Mating stainless headers to aluminum heads is fine, you have a gasket in between. Use antiseaze on the bolts though.
