throttle body requirements

the best thing to do is get a scan tool and with the engine OFF press the gas pedal slowly and close it slowly. watch the TPS% and the voltage if it bounces or voltage drops/increases replace it and the wires too.check the voltage at idle as well and WOT. it doesnt require any reprogramming if its a stock tb and can be replaced by itself..

so I replaced the throttle body and cleaned the MAF. My idle improved and it doesn't want to die when coming to a stop.
HOWEVER, it won't shift out of 1st gear now. If I manually put it into 2nd it will stay in first and roll up to 3-4k rpms and then spike/slip above that
I did get it scanned and all my sensors are in working order.
Can this be a electrical problem? Didn't hook up a wire right or a bad fuse? All I can think of is the guy that rebuilt my tranny did it wrong
