Default Throttle body coolant hose????

I was getting ready to put in my 34" radiator and was checking everything over to make sure I have what I need before I start. Well I noticed there is no coolant port between the transmission cooler lines like on mine. Its the small one that runs from the radiator through the TB and into the driverside head. Ive already done the bypass on the TB so is it ok to cap the port off on the head? This is on an 04' silverado BTW. Thanks for any help.

My stock one wouldn't fit when I put the TVS on for the compound setup, so I clipped the line and welded it shut. Been running with no head coolant port flow there for a year and a half now.

Are we talking about the coolant crossover pipe thing? I was under the impression that is to relieve excessive pressure build up from coolant boiling in the head....

not sure, its at the front of the drivers side head and the hose is clamped onto a nipple.

I think the radiators from v-6 trucks don't have that nipple.
