6000 1-2
5800 2-3
5700 3-4
100% torque management removal. if you want to go fast why the hell would you keep this.
shorter and better scaled shift timing
6200rpm limiter

etc., etc.

I'd definatly bring the rtev limit up around 6200 or so if the valvetrain is stock. Higher if you've upgraded springs, and have a cam that will still make power that high.

Wait a minute. I was under the impression that tow/haul only affected tranny parameters. Some of ya'll are saying that timing tables are affected too?

I have to do the crank relearn since i put a whole new PCM in but the truck still drives fine. If you use your PCM to tune then you wont have to do a relearn procedure but if you put a new PCM in chances are you will have to either a security relearn, idle relearn or the crank relearn. You can do them all yourself except the crank relearn unless you have a scan tool for it. No big deal though

If you pull your pcm out and put it in another truck then put it back in yours, do you have to do a relearn?

torque management may assist in taking a trans out. if you have the settings right though a mostly stock truck will handle it just fine. my boss has well over 30k on his truck and hasn't had torque management since around his first oil change. i've tried a large range of shift points on his truck and right now he's at 6000, 5900, and 5700. he's had not a single trans problem to date.

depends on your everyday driving how long your stock tranny will last. my tranny would be toast by now if i had 100% removed.
