I will be putting th LS1 fans on soon and was going to get a Nelson harness but I also wanted the ability to overide the PCM and manually turn them on say if Im at the track. I assume that some of you have that setup. Im trying to figure out if this is the same as the Nelson harness plus the ability to override the pcm or what.

How have most of you with the Nelson harness set yours up?

 

the nelson harness is awesome. and the best thing is just tell him and he will add you a switch in for free. and you can flip your fans on whenever you want to. thats what i have.

 

OK! Is there a extra connection for that or is it already wired in the harness?

 

It is just a switch wired to a wire tap and ground that you connect to the pcm pin wire. It works perfectly.
