Default those of you who have swapped cams/springs...

did you actually check install height for the new springs and make necessary adjustments, or did you just pull and replace? just curious how many people here actually do/did it right.

i just pulled and replaced with the LS6 springs... The PRC duals that i have now came with the heads...

nope stock heads and a 222/224 cam..

Michael, the adjustment is in the height of the spring versus the "install" height of the valve... sometimes shimming may be needed to make the heights meet.

same here, when I installed the cam in my old camaro, I just took out the old springs and put in the 918 springs. No problems for 25k miles then I sold it.
