I just cut mine and used some butt splice connectors to put the new pigtails on....no problems here. No soldering either.

with the L76 intake you will need different orings to use your car type injectors. I am still working out what else on the truck intake, I think it will just be o rings on the 42 marine injectors for plug and play in my application but I have not checked to see how the fuel rail will sit.

im hoping i can take the end caps off my truck injectors and use the different o-rings, then just plug-and-play

what i was wondering is the setup from scoggin dickey comes with the rails and injectors all complete. do the car connectors plug into these new injectors?

I went to the local Pick-N-Pull, found a V8 Aurora and got the entire injector harness for $5. All the wire colors matched up with my harness. I soldered and heat shrinked all the connections. It looks pretty close to factory and haven't had any problems.
A few pics: (they were a little big and I didn't feel like resizing so just click the links to view)

Might look into this if you really don't want to cut the stock harness.
Installed the 60's today along with the adapters....everything worked out very nicely.
