Talking Thorley headers installed

I installed a set of thorley tri-y headers on my truck this weekend. The headers fit good, lots of clearance around the steering shaft, front drive shaft and frame. Now the y pipe was another story, the y pipe was over an 1" to far a part and 2" short on the drivers side. I took a comealong and bend the pipe in, and then it fit the headers ok, but now the rest of the exhaust system, was put out of place, tails were sticking out like 3" to far back. exhaust work sucks.

I can really feel the torque differance, sounds cool too.

Looks good. How is your mid-top end with them?

They might not be no AS&Ms or TOGs, but for the buck I think Thorley's are da chit. Try-Y is a great design, evidently wonderful for low-end, mid-range power, basically good gains throughout.

There is more power from idle all the way up, but the lowend torque is the most noticable. My truck is still a dog out the hole, I can only get the tires to chirp off the line, and sometimes not at all (in 2wd). I badly need a TT3000, and a 6.0L.

I started the truck up with open headers, and tried to record the sound with my digital camera, but it was way to loud for it, so it doen't sound right, but here it is anyways.
