Default Thinking Oif Getting Some Longtubes

I Just Got A 2004 Ext Cab Z71 And Was Thinking About Getting Some Longtubes For It. But I Was Just Wondering If Anyone Had Some Suggestions Or Tips On What Kind I Should Go With. And Also Would I Need To Get It Tuned After I Do This. Thanks For The Help....

Get some Pacesetters, they're the best bang for the buck.

Pacesetters seem to be the most popular around here. Tuning isn't necessary but it certainly won't hurt things at all

stylin concepts claims 25% hp increase on the gibson chrome shorties hahaha j/k... thats an increase of +- 75 hp at the crank on a 5.3

i vote for the pacesetters LTs and ORY

if you get the l/t's and full exhaust, i would consider getting it tuned if i were you. when i did my exhaust, the truck ran pretty lean.... pull the plugs and look at them after 1000 miles or so, they will most likely be burnt. i felt a good power gain in the butt meter, and i gained 2 tenths in the 1/4 with just exhaust.
