I've been thinking of selling my WS6 for a new Silverado. It seems like the trucks are built much better than the F-bodies are for some reason. Anyway, I was looking at getting a Sportside standard cab with a 5.3 and 3.73s. What kind of performance would this truck get? What about with all the bolt ons? Thanks in advance.

Stock, you will run high 14's. Without going internal, you can run mid to high 13's. 12's are only a small shot away. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
What year is your car? You wanna trade? <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" />

That performance sounds respectable. If I get one, it will have the L59 engine, and probably the Pro-Tec bed to save weight. Keep the replies coming.
BTW, car is a 2002.

The ***-end on these trucks are light enough, the front is where the weight is. You will get NO traction with the Pro-Tec bed unless you do some serious traction mods IMO.
Good Luck
