Default Think the motor bit it...again

Loud clunk from the bottom of the motor. Thing I lost a rod bearing. Tearing it apart next week. Advice? 370 iron or 408, perhaps a 427.

Boosted a 370. A chev perf crate 454 would be killer!

That's a pretty defining criteria: do you want high rpm power, low end torque, boost, longevity: etc

I still vote 408 because there aren't many of us stroker bois left lol

smartest decision i ever made....

also, if you're just rebuilding i would say see if youre crank is usable - if so 370... if youve got to buy a crank anyway then go 4"

I will admit there's nothing like the torque of a stroker for N/A fun. Probably going to keep it N/A with either a 408 or 418.

Going with this one. Block is built for the 4" stroke so less wear and tear. Thinking of the SWP package and have my builder complete all the machine work. Thoughts on Skip White anyone?
