Tires are more important then brakes. They have a more dramatic effect on braking performance.

But if you insist, I just put on some hawk pads. They are a little more pricey then OE pads, but for my purposes, suburban, towing, etc it fit the bill nicely. Aprox $70

Raybestos pads are fine too at $30 or so it's a bargain.

Richard, go with the gm durastop ceramic pads. The temp range is higher, reducing brake fade, & the brake dust is a light grey, no discoloration.

Hey Blake, how much are they? I'll probably get some in a month or so, it's not to a critical point yet. I can just tell that they're getting a little weak.

Thanks for the responses guys!

You might also check out the Wagner Thermoquiet brake pads. Gauranteed not to squeal, low dust formula and they last along time.

from what i have been told it is best to run the OEM pads unles you completely redo the brake system, cause which would you rather have go bad, the pad or the rotor....im no pro but thats what i have been told....correct me if i wrong...
