Default think i might go back stock

We had play day yesterday for our dirt track and it gave me the fever again so i am thinging of sell it all. I think i will put my stock cam back in or either trade mine for a much smaller one that would be good for towing. NOS wet kit will have to go and all my goodies. I think I will go with a set of 4.10 and keep my upd{ maybe}. My truck is running like **** with this cam and i can only tune if at WOT with my tuner. I put my scan master on it and i am ruunin 4 % rich at frickin idle. There is a spot on the driveway where it sits and idle in the morning. I think if i change my mind and keep it I might drive over to ed wright and let him deal with it. Street& performance is only a hour and a half away in Mena Ar. and they could do it. Besides if i went to mena I could see the brodix head plant

i think if you got it tuned you would be much happier with it.

mine is also running 4% rich at idle... that is actually not bad at all. when i tuned mine i was shooting for 0-5% rich at idle <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Hey Red2k, just hang in there until you get your tuning done. I stepped up to a 5/32 hole in my throttle body with very little change. Like I told you the other day, I'm going to get dyno tuned as soon as I get my converter installed so I'll be able to tell you how my driveability is doing with that cam. The "mail oder tuning" I have, I think/hope only got me close to where I should be as far as tuning goes. When I ordered the cam they told me I would need custom tuning because the HPP3 wouldn't be nearly enough to properly run this cam. I sent you the pushrods along with the extra set of rockers and lifters I have just in case they were damaged from not getting enough oil. I do remember that I went about 5 days before I installed my Crane rockers and I didn't have any valvetrain noise. Hope this helps, I'll let you know how everything goes as I go along.
