Damnit i used to have the fastest truck in town...But my friend just bought an 03 lightning...We plan to race when he breaks it in good...it only has 200 miles right now...i know if we race motor to motor he will smash me, but here are my plans...i have a set of electric fans im going to put in be4 the race and i think im gonna up the nos to a 100 shot for this race...my other mods are below...do u think i can take him? personally i think it will be close but im thinkin he will still prob. take me...and also hes stock right now...so u think ill take him?

i gotta big surprise comin for him this summer ...its called a fully forged 370ci with a 200 shot...then i dont think ill have a problem..

 

Stock Lightnings aren't that fast high 13s bump the 50 shot to a 125 shot and give him a try.

If that V8 you have, you shold have no problem kicking his *** with a 100 shot and your mods.

Don't be scared, pill it up and go beat his ***. 100 shot should do it.

 

You have a cam and a stall. With this and your other mods you should be running a low 14 on the 1/4. If you have traction, a 100 shot should get you in the low to mid 13's enough to beat a stock lightning.

 

I've raced 4 different Lightnings with my Tahoe and beaten all 4.Getting beat by an SUV really pisses them off.Go for it you've got nothing to lose,he's the one with the big,bad Lightning.
