I need a new set for the LQ9. These look right to me but I don't know much about what I can't see, can someone verify these are the right ones for an LQ9? Is this a decent price?

They look correct but buyer beware! Without being in GM sealed packages I would not say GM. Too cheap to be GM, they are 3-4 times that much. Maybe a off the wall brand for that price.

I saw those last night myself...they look like the right ones, and I *think* the price is OK, but I've seen Comp and/or Melling lifters new for about the same price. Just not sure which would be higher quality/longer lasting...the GM ones or aftermarket stuff.

Morel makes THE best LS1 lifter! But those do look right for a 6.0, 5.3, 4.8 etc. The Comp "R" lifter is not a good idea.

Ok I just sent him a message to see if they were in factory packaging and to see where he got them.

What about the Comp OE replacement? Are they any good? Aren't the Morel lifters like $500? I wanna go with some new lifters when I put my 6.0 together also, but I'm kinda on a budget.

I've got the Comp OEM type in my 408 and so far they are fine. Shifts at 6800 and quiet as stock at idle.

Can't say I've ever been to Tonawanda.

FWIW, I did some searching at LS1Tech, and supposedly Futral uses Melling lifters, which he also sells. I think they're around $165...
