Yank 2600 or TCI SF3000?

I'm thinking the Yank 2600 because it's a little bit bigger. Those with these converters, when you shift what do your rpms drop to and what are you shifting at?

The shift extensions of the converters I've had with a 5800 shift point:

Stock, dropped to 3500

TT3000, dropped to 3800

SS3800, drop to 5200

Something I've noticed, It doesn't really matter where your shift point is, the shift extension usually stays the same.

The 2600 will have better street manners, but shift extension will probably be close to stock.

The shift extention for the Yank is listed on their site..... http://www.converter.cc/inventory/SUVS/SUV.htm

They say it only allows shifts to drop 1,900rpms at the shifts.

It looks like they're saying the stocker drops 2,300 at the shifts.

Yeah I think I'm going for the TB converter. I still need to tow and my wife drives the truck more than I do. Plus for 220$ I can;t get hurt if I need to upgrade later.

More like $220 + $100 core charge + shipping. GMPartsDirect.com is one place, Scoggin Dickey (sdpc2000.com) is another.

Nope, my delaer said 220$ including the core. So that's 220$ total. You guys need to get better relationships with your dealers! LOL Nah just kidding I used to work there and can get employee prices from my friends.
