You can try the old school method of using a BB in the T-stat, I believe that makes the standard one a 170-ish open and 185 running

I am just kinda wondering why you want to switch to a 160* thremostat? Your NA right?

I would rather have it run cooler, cooler engine+more timing= more hp correct?
i dont think that i am the only NA motor with one am i ?
ordered an SLP one from summit 29 dollars shipped.

Some of the more agressive tunes require a 160 stat
