heck i just did the BB Mod and it works great in the summer... Winter it takes awhile to warm up to Operating Temp.

BB mod and drilled out the checkball, it runs right at 165-170*

i did your BB mod and it sits right at 170* my old 160 stat sat a 180* when it was warm.
