dont want to mess with the thread but my sister 97TA LT1 is having fan issues as well. it seems her fans dont come on unless the a/c is on no matter what. she took it to the stealership and her gauge was reading 250 but the computer was reading 215... so even in cold weather she turns her a/c on the fans will run. she read that the pcm goes out after about 10 years so i told her to get a mail order tune with a core charge to get a new unit. her car is bone stock. for some reason she believes the gauge not the computer because she says she can feel it being way hotter and just recently starting having the problem. i told her to sign up and post on ls1tech.....what gives?
