Default Re: Temp probe for elec fans question

i have the perma cool adjustable fan switch. it uses a probe. i mounted the relay unit to the side of my fan shroud and the probe went between the radiator fins, near where the upper hose connects to the radiator.

Default Temp probe for elec fans question

Where and how is everyone mounting the probe for the temp to cut the fans on? I pretty much got how I want my wireing to run.
What type of probe are yall useing to get the temp and where are yall mounting it at? I was looking at the kits the perma cool has and one has a sensor that screws into somewhere and the other is like a probe. Which one is better?
Thanks for any help,
Lar
