Doesnt look like it would cost that much to do a 402 bore/stroke-then just add boost thats gotta be 10's waiting to happen.

IMHO the making the power part isnt really the problem...you can do 408/turbo,370 f1 procharger,408/direct port, what ever you want...but what its gonna come down to is your 60ft. and IMO its gonna take either a built 4l80, th400, or if your a real savage a powerglide.

I would start by getting a iron block 408 and then saving up for some nice p&P heads probably stage 2 and build it with around 9.0 compression. throw that in your truck. when the money comes have a 4l80e swapped in that has been built up and I would also look into a 4 link rear. once you get all the mechanicals out of the way then you can look at getting into a turbo or what not. Personally I would throw an sts turbo on right now with a meth. kit and have a dual controlelr for when I turned up the boost over 7psi. from their I would get some heads and a cam. leave it like that for a litle until you break either the engine, or tranny and replace them when they go out. But that's jsut my opinion and I am going to keep my vho NA atleast until it's paid off or I pull then engine or blow something up

I think im going to go ahead and get the radix since its the most complete kit and for what im looking to do I should be able to hit 12's with a radix and a good tune.

Remember you wont hit 12s on stock boost. It will take more than the base setup to do so. Most of the SS Silverado guys only hit mid 13s on the stock boost setting. A small nitrous shot though will get you there on stock boost

Tough choice man... Both are great systems. Everyone knows which way I lean on expandability but if you would be happy with 12s then the Radix is a great setup. Until I see someone push it real hard (that doesn't work for the company) I can't recomend it for a sub 11sec 5000lb truck.

I just wish Cmotoring or PTK would hurry up with a front mount kit for a good price and I would recomend that for a 10sec truck

IS there any place to get a front mount turbo now and build your own setup?

Sure, but I don't know if I would go through the hastle and work to do so. Even Parish admits to not wanting to try and build his own setup and with all the little fab work he did on his kit you'd expect him to be the first.

You might try giving one of those places a call and see if maybe something can be worked out. Can't hurt right?
