Either that or get a 2wd rcsb and start from there with the project...keeping your sweet VHO for cruising. I think a back-halfed new body style truck on a big drag radial with a four link or ladder bar set up would be sweet. Throw in one of SLP's new 402's or a GTP 408 or something, with a turbo, and you could shoot for the #1 spot! Good luck with your project, wherever it takes you!

I had a Radix, Cam, Headers Etc........

I got to 433 RWhp and 455RWhp and ran a 13.455@101.12 with IAT issues.

If you really want to get into the 10-11's start with a solid built motor and then add on blower or turbo.

Dont forget about a built trans!

Good luck brother

I hit 12's with 7psi. I think 10's are going to be difiicult anyway you look at it.

If you want 12's RADIUX would be the most friendly option available. 10's are a whole different ball game. I wouldn't even put the STS kit up to the task of 10's.

Yeah with 10+psi 12's should be easy but i guess we will soon find out. I just have to make a decision because if i go procharger then the money i will save over a radix i can get a big fat nasty stall like my camaro had even if i get a radix i can still do that it just max's out at 10 psi.

My procharger ended up costing as much as the Radix kit once it was set up correctly. It needs to be tuned (not included and absolutely necassary) and the FMU sucks, just dump it and get injectors. The intake position and bypass valve leave a lot to be desired. The radix is a much more complete kit, with your goals there is no "kit", I am definetely no expert but from what I have learned here turbo is the way to go and anything over what the kits offer, you really start having to get fancy with the fueling and tuning. By the time my Procharger setup is the way I want it, I will have tossed 50% of the kit and spent way more than I ever intended to, basically all that will be left of the kit on my truck is the Mounting bracket and Head Unit. Good luck, I'll be happy to get my heavy *** beast into the 14's, and still be usable for towing 8,000lbs.

Oh so well said! Stay FAR away from the Blowcharger setup unless you just like doing your own R & D. Get a RADIX and you will be very happy. Don't get me wrong, the base ATI makes great power(not on a built motor), but it's got more downs than ups if you know what i mean. Plumbing is #1, belt slippage is #2, and just recently i noticed that my lower alternator bracket is cracked (the blower bracket bolts on here too) probably from trying to keep the belt tension so high!
