Default tbss swap question

I'm going to swap in an intake from an 08 tbss. I want to use my 42# injectors. But they are taller than the tbss injectors. My question is, which spacer kit do I need?

i actually talked to katech about this and putting some 44# injectors in an ly6 intake, basically same style as the tbss...according to them you wont need a spacer kit, just new o rings to make them fit snugly in the rails and intake. There isnt enough difference in length from oring to oring to make a difference. only really difference besides the new orings will be the fuel rails and crossover will sit a few mm higher off the manifold.

should I swap out the knock sensors while I'm there? I'm not getting any codes. just don't want to keep taking the intake on and off.

While I had the intake off, I would at least lift the seals and look at the top sides of the sensors to see if the appear all corroded up and if they do, I would replace them now. If water or other debris has gotten underneath the seals, you will instantly be able to tell whether or not what kind of shape they visually appear, even if they are still functioning. Of course if you do end up replacing them, replace the sensor sub harness as well.

thanks Jarrod. I've been looking online for the sub harness but I can't find it. The part number I have is 15320925.

Ok, since the ls2 throttle body doesn't have the port for the hose that goes to the passenger side valve cover. Were do I attach that hose? Can I just block off the port?

no dont block it off, its your pcv inlet. Some people just put a mini filter on it, but thats mostly on FI stuff. If your n/a it should go between the TB and maf, run a hose to the intake tube somewhere in-between the two..
