Im trying to find out what i need to convert to the 90mm TB and intake...help.

So have you done this swap yet? What needs to be done to adapt the truck feed and return lines to the TBSS fuel rail?

Im wanting to do this along with some milled 243 heads and LS6 cam on my 03 Silverado 5.3L. I already have the heads and cam here, and am working out a deal for the complete intake from a guy on TBSSowners.com.

I found the wiring kit for 80 bucks, and the only other potential problem seems to be the fuel rail. What if we installed a fuel filter/regulator assembly from an 04 truck and then just ran a single feed line to the rail. Seems like the easiest and cheapest solution to me.

Nah not yet, i bought one off ebay, waiting for it to get here. I found an adapter for the throttle body by a member from here http://torquerush.com/Purchase.html what kit are you talking about?

so let me get this straight, an 03 5.3L has only one fuel line and no return line? Mine has both fuel feed and return lines.

no my 03 has both lines as well, but in 04 they went to the returnless fuel system, and if its like the vettes system, it would be easy to just install the 04+ fuel filter, it has a feed going in, and a return that goes back to the tank, and then a single outlet going to the fuel rail. You would just need a new fuel line from the outlet to the filter to the rail.

Yeah i pmed DRx about the torque rush adaptor, and it seems to be the best way to go to work with the TAC module already on the truck, and you dont have to cut up the stock harness, so its easy to go back to stock if you want/need to.

So I need a fuel filter that has a return line going from the filter itself? What about that little valve/sensor looking thing on the fuel rails?

The older return style systems are much better than the returnless. Keep your factory setup with the regulator at the rails. Might require some custom rails and an aftermarket FPR, unless you can somehow cut and graft the two rail sets together to make a return rail that fits the new intake.
