Default TBSS Intake problem

I bought a TBSS intake the other day from eBay and Ive got a problem with the brake vacuum port on the back. I know that to remove the vacuum hose you press on the clip and it releases. My problem is that the small plastic piece that slides in the intake and contains the "clip" is not there.

I have two stock truck intakes with the plastic pieces still attached is there a way they come out or is it broken out of the TBSS?

Push in the fitting and the red ring around the fitting, then while still holding the ring back pull the fitting out.

The fitting with the red ring is the part that is missing. The piece of plastic connected to the end of the vacuum hose that comes out when you press the ring is not the issue

On the other two intakes I can turn it but I'm afraid if I try and pull it out and its not supposed to be pulled out its gonna break something on them also
