Default tbss intake manifold swap lq4 2004 rcsb

have the lq4 at the machine shop getting freshened up (new rings & bearings) going to strip my ls6 243's and btr stg 2 cam toss it all in it, i just picked up a 4 bolt intake manifold 07+/tbss and a little lost about what throttle body to use?

i have a silver blade ls2 from my car on hand but its not a PnP so whats my options?

have hptuners so make it a cable tb? an adapter harness?

whats every one doing to get this done?

You can only swap to a cable throttle body if your computer has the IAC drivers on the circuit, then you have to figure out cruise control functions as well as buying a new 4 bolt cable throttle body.

No idea what GEN 4 throttle body works with those trucks but you'd need an X-Link and those are pretty pricey.

Cheapest solution would be to buy a 4 bolt to 3 bolt adapter plate for like $25 and call it good or just leave the GEN 3 intake.

I bought an X-Link. While pricey, it does work.

yeah not going to slap on the 4 to 3 bolt plate dont think its worth swapping at that point, i do use the cruise control so thats staying

so the X-Link module is really my only options seriously? man cant believe nothing else out there or another way...

im not a fan of adding gadgets to make things work but it is what it is at this point

madmann26 any problems with it at all?

No issues, no failures, cruise works fine.

ETC Area Scaler needs to adjusted.

Do an xlink, adjust the tune accordingly and run it. I am running a ls2 90 right now on my 04. Haven’t ran the stock 78mm for the better part of 8 years.
