Sounds like A SHIPLOAD of maze to run, with very little cheeeeze at the end.

I doubt it would make any measurable HP difference over the stock LQ4 manifold & TB, in that setup.

shipload?

picked up a intake with fuel rail & the ss engine cover for $80 have the 90mm ls2 throttle body and a 87mm truck on hand so from what im reading here just need a x-link $240 ($340 all in) i've spend more for less HP gains then what folks are getting from this lol i would of liked a fast intake but thats not in the budget at this time

i have not herd of any one not picking up HP/TQ from it, this build is not going to break any records but i think its worth it since this is a h/c/i, bolt'ons and small stall converter shooting for 400+ to the tires im sure this will help me get there i seen few guys getting 15+ over stock lq4 intakes on just bolt'on setups or small cam only

my truck is a 2004

I replaced the TAC module in my 05 with the TAC module from an 02 then I got a throttle body adapter that adapts the 6 pin to the 8 pin, the extension is like 8 inches long. thats it. no issues in 15 years. everything works fine. My x-link died after about a year and left me stranded clear on the other side of town. if you don't do this and choose the x-link I recommend you keep a spare 78mm throttle body in your car just in case.
