I ran a 14.8@94 with 31.5" tires with a DA of about 1500 before the intake.
after I ran a 14.8@94 with 32.5" tires with a DA of about 4000. Hows that?

Good
Well its a mod that sometimes works But for me it didnt
I am sure you cant feel the loss of lowend torque being you have a 6.0 and 4k stall

grey thanks for the input man, its appreciated. honestly id rather see someone else try it on a 4.8 first before i slap it on lol...my buddy with the TBSS has never led me in the wrong direction but then again tbss and 4.8 silvy...big diff, hopefully someones tried it on a 4.8, if i swapped everything and saw no gain id probably be pretty pissed and take a hammer to the intake. and andy...def a big improvment on your truck man, if mine did that id def be happy lol. honestly if i had the money id dyno it before and after to see what the gains were for other 4.8 guys, but unfortunitley im unemployed. also grey, random question but did you buy an 87mm tb or just use the stock 78 with the ss intake mani?

The intake was installed before the trans/stall and the heads/cam. I gained about 70 hp from just a head/cam swap. Im sure it would not have been as high if I didnt have the TBSS intake.

for the 4.8, I would think that you would need a bigger cam to see any real gains with the TBSS intake. Would be nice to be proven wrong though.

Maybe SweetS10V8 will divulge some of his data.
I did my testing on an Superflow 902 engine dyno with 8 widebands, 8 egts, 3 oil temps, 3 water temps. The temps were kept plus or minus 1 degree for a run, and three runs were averaged together. My work typically had a variation of less than 1hp(at any point) per run

Ill see if I can find it.......

andy i will be going cammed as soon as i got enough money and the time to do it lol, if i dont end up going the custom ground cam way ill probably end up getting a tsp224 and then slapping the intake on. i was gonna throw the intake on first but if theres a chance id see minor gains or none...ill wait till the cams in lol, in reality id like to throw heads on it too but thatll be later down the road

Hate to beat a dead horse here but im gonna ask anyway.

How much horsepower can the NBS intake support? I've heard right at 600. Edit: Naturally Aspirated

How much horsepower can the NNBS/TBSS intake support? I've heard 650. Edit: Naturally Aspirated

I've also heard the NNBS/TBSS has a larger plenum volume, but the runners are the same length. True?
